They soak through if you have anything moist so transfer them when you get home and everything mushes together in transport so you may need to use 3 or 4 instead of one. I know they're better for the environment but they are awful. Beware the brown boxes you fill your choices. I love the breakfast bar but went this week at my usual time to find it not there at all as an employee had called out. Early on they changed them up more, but not so much now. The prepared foods steam & salad tables seem mostly same old/same old and used to be perfect for a post work dinner pick up but we're all bored with the choices.
The meat counter is fabuluous but you can spend a fortune on WF's meats so beware I wish they would sell non packaged chicken breasts here, especially bone on so I could do more shopping here than have to go to Acme across the street for Bell & Evans. The cheese counter is usually too busy to suggest or talk to you these days though early on they used to. The fish monger goes above and beyond, removing pin bones and prepping your purchase how you want it free of charge. The desserts counter, it's tough to find someone to come help you. The men and women working behind the deli counter are unfailingly courteous and welcoming. Lactose free milk, homone-free chicken, and organic produce generally are equal or less than Acme prices. Yes, it's expensive, but some items are less expensive here than the Acme across the way and watch for sales.
